YES! Great news has appeared on Gmail’s blog. Google is refreshing and updating the ‘Promotions’ tab display. We will soon see deals, offers, and other marketing emails with more graphics, more colors and they will be presented much more attractively.
What has changed?
Instead of the standard look Gmail users will soon be switched to a more colorful look with tiled fragments of graphics taken from offers sent to their accounts (If you want to test a new version a sign-up is going on now - you can register here).
The tiles mirror the look of pages on Google+ but the operation details of new ‘Promotions’’ aren’t shown entirely. Assuming, however, that Google would like to draw away users from Facebook, such integration of commercial messages with Google+ would make sense.
Such changes always create a new field in which to search for interesting solutions and innovative approaches to sending messages. Our strategy deparment is already looking forward to taking advantage of new possibilities!
